I don't know if you're Lincoln wiper arms are the same as those on my 1994 Ford F-150 but I too have been searching the Web looking for help on how to remove them. I have the owner’s manual and it was no help at all. I finally gave up looking for help and played around with my wiper arms long enough to learn that at the base of the arm, where it attaches to the shaft coming through the cowl, there is a clip. If you pull the arm away from the windshield and pull the clip out and then while slowly lowering the wiper arm and holding the clip out, it will lock onto the arm holding the arm and blade away from the windshield. At the same time, the clip is held away from the wiper shaft making it possible to easily remove the wiper arm. Good luck, Rich
