I'm sure you've removed the screws but if not do that then get some pliers and give it a really strong tug, if that doesn't work try pushing a coat hanger thru and pulling the silencer out. failing that, run the car for about 20 minutes to heat the exhaust up and soften the metal and then try steps 1 and 2 again. (tip) if your going to try WD-40 don't spray it onto a burning hot exhaust
