In terms of removing calcium buildup and deposits from hot tubs, there are two products which are very effective. Spa System Flush will remove loose calcium, and calcium from the inside of the pipes and in the spa equipment. TLC works great for cleaning calcium and decaling vinyl liners, tile, fiberglass, and concrete.

Mix 1/2 cup of ammonia with 1 gallon of water in a bucket. Use a stiff bristled brush to scrub the calcium deposits with the ammonia water solution. Let the solution remain on the calcium deposits for 10 minutes, then rinse with clean water that does not contain ammonia.

Repeat the process if necessary.

Distilled white vinegar. I recently had the same problem and tried, unsuccessfully, to use a buffing agent before a friend recommended I try vinegar. Just apply the vinegar to a cloth or soft bristle brush and scrub the affected area. I was amazed at how fast it came off; my car's finish looks good as new.

you could try CLR (pick it up at the grocery store) but i would try it on a section that doesn't show first to make sure it won't etch the marble
