Provided it is a water based glue, wipe it with damp cloth.
I don't think you can do that. The glitter glue will soak in and establish a bond making it impossible to remove. -Cheaper to just get more construction paper.

I would use gorilla glue, that stuff will glue just about anything together. Make sure to use only a little bit, it expands and "foams" when drying.
Use wood glue for wood to wood, to glue a cabinet back together you need to remove the old glue so that you have a clean wood to wood contact if this can't be done you can use epoxy glue, go to your local hardware store ask for help and tell them what you are working on and they will help on the type of glue you need.

dampen a rag with lighter fluid or mineral spirits. no you wont remove the polyurethane, its dry. but it will however remove the glue with no problem or blemishes in your poly.
Pva wood glue
Elmer's original White glue can be used for sticking together paper, card and wood. -( I make a point of saying 'original' as Elmer's now have at least 6 types of glue that will bond a variety of things.)
Soak it in water for about an hour then it will peel off.
