How do you remove gateways goback on a computer with no OS in it?In: Computers |
Answer
You need a system floppy containing the FDISK.EXE program. Run the program after booting the computer to the floppy, then remove all of the partition data.
This should have removed ALL (even hidden) data from the hard drive. You must however remember to re-partition the disk and format it before trying to install your new operating system.
