How do you remove gummy hair styling wax from long hair where normal shampoo does not work?

[Edit]

Answer

try peanut butter, it removes chewing gum from hair

Answer

For teens who use a lot of hairstyling products the best thing to clean your hair with is: 1 cup of baking soda and add warm water to mix to a paste. Rinse your hair and towel dry a little, then add the paste on and leave for 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. This should be done once a week. This is for long hair. For short hair 1/2 cup of water mixed into a paste with water and follow the rest of the directions above. Works like magic and I use it on my own hair. My hairdresser told me about it.
