Although I do not have the answer to your question, I am quite anxious to hear feed back regarding this problem. My daughter spilled a half a bottle of nal polish on her brand new leather boots and I have been a little gun shy to try and get it out, for fear of ruining these boots further..... HELP!!!
Okay I had a huge stressed out day when my daughter split hot pink nail polish all over our leather couch, after hours of searching and trying things to get it off, my angel of a friend happened to stop by and saved the day. She told me to try HOT water and Vim. We used a regular wash cloth and a soft brush and went to town on it- it took a few hours to get it off, and there was some warn out spots but nothing compaired to HOT PINK-- after I touched up the spots that had faded a bit with a matching fabric marker (from the furniture store) and rubbed it with paper towel, then put vegetable oil on to get back the shine. You can barely notice unless you really look!!!! My couch is dark chocolate brown- this might not work to well with a lighter colour- but it saved my day!!!
