It is very rare that arterial plaque can be reduced without surgery. There have been very small reductions occasionally seen with large reductions in cholesterol, but the chances of that happening are very small.

Yes, with blood thinners and anti-cholesterol medication and living a healthier lifestyle i.e. low cholesterol intake and lots of exercise. Usually one would start by improving ones diet. A cardiac incident may require a stent or angioplasty in a medical facility to remove a specific clot or thinning of the arteries. After such an event people are advised to change their diet and live a healthier life. They may be on medication for life.

Exercise is the only way. You should eat right but if you want to remove plaque, walk, run, cardio etc. Take control of your mind and make yourself exercise before it's to late.
