easiest way if you can unscrew it is with a pair of long needle nose pliers. I have a set which are 15 inches long to work on garbage disposers without putting my hand down in the disposer. run the engine let it heat then take a breaker bar on a long extension to loosen it and take it out with the pliers. This will keep you from getting your fingers burned off on the hot exhaust.
