How do you remove spyware from Windows XP if you are not able to access Windows update?

In: Windows

Answer

You can download other SPYWARE programs, like spywareblaster or spybot s&d. These are generally better than anything you'll find at Microsoft.

Answer

Go to Microtrend on the Internet. Very good tool.

Answer

Those first two are for grade school kids, use Webroots Spysweeper this one takes a while but found over 2800 malicious adware/spyware on my pc that spybot never even checked for... it costs but use the 30 day trial

Answer

The first time I ran Spybot S&D, I was surprised to see that a couple of Microsoft programs, or at least sponsored or partnered with Microsoft, were classified as spyware by this software. This led me to the admittedly paranoid conclusion that, in all probability, Microsoft wants to give us free adware removers to clear the field for their own spyware. I'll stick to Spybot, Adaware and Spyware Blaster, thanks very much. Good luck.
