when you start your computer, it matters what compnay your PC is from, weather it is a Dell or Compaq or HP, when you start it up the PC company comes up before the Windows Vista or XP screen, right away at the company name it will say BOOT=F12 or what ever the company puts as its boot button, right away press the button it says, the BOOT MENU will come just scroll through the options and find the system password, change it, if this doesn't work you'll have to reboot your PC.

Locate the syskey.dll file. Do this by Selecting "Start," "Search" and "All files and folders." Type in syskey.dll into the search bar. Once the file is found, place the cursor over the file. The file's path will be displayed. Copy and paste the path into a word processor or write it down. This path will be used later when removing the file.
Step 2
Click "Start" again and select "Run." This will bring up a small window. In the search bar of the window type "cmd" and hit "Enter." This will bring up the command prompt window.
Step 3
Type "cd," leave a space, then type or paste the path of the syskey.dll file and hit "Enter." This will bring up a window, which will allow you to remove syskey from the registry. Do this by typing in the syskey file's path, followed by "regsvr32/u" and the file name "syskey.dll." Hit enter one more time and the file will be removed from the registry. The syskey and its password will now be removed.

∙ 12y agoAs far as I know , there are two main methods to solve the windows 7 password problem as follows:
1st Method:
Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type \Administrator\ (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from \Control Panel - User Accounts\.
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.
2th Method:
