Hey Michael==TAke the wheels off and pull the drums off. If they are rusted on, some WD40 and a hammer are helpful. If the shoes have worn groves in the drums and that is what is holding them, you have to turn the adjusters backwards to back off the shoes. Sometimees it is necessary to just pry the drums off and put new springs on when you reinstall them.{But you have ot know how the springs are positioned.You may need a shop manual available at the parts store} GoodluckJoe
