How do you remove the driver?
See related links below for a really good step by step guide. Following are some minor noted differences: The armrest for the 91 model has a padded cover which has to be remov…ed from the top to access two of the screws. Pry the cover up on the side closest to the front of the car with a screwdriver and work your way back. On the back end is a plastic hook that should release from the forward movement of popping the rest of the cover up. The inside door handle trim needs to be released in two places, not just the one shown. First release as shown by inserting a small screwdriver into the crack between the handle and the bottom trim where the handle hinges and push up on the screwdriver handle to release. Then insert into the crack between the lock lever and the top trim and push down on the handle to release the top side. Then continue as shown in the directions. Note that the door handle trim was the one thing I had the most trouble with. If you don't know the trick with the screwdriver release then you will end up having to destroy the trim to get it off.
Remove the screws from the handle and then the door panel will slide up. It has clips that will only let it slide up

this should help. remove the interior trim panel. there are two small screws, one at the top right corner of the door, and one behind the handle. then there are three larger P…hilips, two under the arm rest and one in the vertical handle piece. i found that a puddy knife worked best to pry the panel from the door frame. there are two little plastic retainers on the rods going from the door to the panel, push them off the rod and pull the rod out of the bracket. It will require some force, just enough to remove it, don't brake it) and disconnect the wiring harness, (this will require the removal of the speaker) push them out of the door. Remove the door check pin, (don't wreak this piece, the pin holding the arm from the door to the door jam), scribe around the door hinged. (enough to brake the paint bond) then have a friend near by and have them hold the door while removing the hinge to door bolts (#30 Torx head) and remove the door. the door is heavy so be careful. Install in the reverse order of removal. If you are still having trouble find a Cherokee haynes repair manual, very helpful!
Answer . \nI found this out when I needed to fix the driver's window on mine. The obvious first step is to remove all screws. Look carefully, there is one or two hidden in …the door handle part. Once that is done, get a flat tip screw driver to dislodge the plastic clips and it should pop right off.
There are bolts underneath the seat. Just undo the bolts and when you get the bolts undone you will notice that there is also a little cord that goes to the seat belt just unh…ook that cord and you will then have a seat separated from jeep
2 bolts recline it back and tip it up and slide it out. The only problem is the bolts are big torx heads.
There are 8 socket (Allen) screws aroung the panel - 2 front, 2 back, 3 across the bottom - remove these. Then you have to pry off the cover of the grab handle. The cover only… - look for the seam. Underneath, there are two large Phillips head screws - remove these. Pry off the speaker cover. There are 4 Phillips head screws there - remove them. Remove the wires from the speaker. The door panel will come straight off - not up. Be careful of the the wiring to the mirror control and the window control. --Paul (pm remove this email@example.com
There are four bolts that hold the seat to the frame of the car. Put seat all the way forward and take out the 2 back bolts - then move seat back to take out the front bolts a…nd the seat should come right out. If it is a power seat you have to disconnect the electrical wires first - obviously. Had to do this not long ago....good luck!

First, pry up the electric window control panel, and disconnect everything, then tuck the wires back down out of the way. Remove the door panel by removing the two bolts in th…e handle/ armrest then lok carefully at the trim ring around the door handle, and you should be able to see where you need to use a flat screwdriver to pop it out of place, and remove it. After that with a flat screwdriver, cats paw, or something else you can gently pry away the entire door panel from the bottom up (it kind of hangs from the "window sill" then lift up when you get to the window.

Warning: Before attempting this repair, be sure to disconnect the battery cables. There still may be residual current flowing to the module, so never put your head or face in …front of the bag while working on it. Perform this job at your own risk, and please exercise extreme caution. It's not a difficult job, but it's probably best left to professionals. With that said: There are four 10mm screws located on the back of the steering wheel that must be removed to lift out the air bag module. Once you have the module out, remove the green tab from the wire harness attached to the air bag. The green tab just pulls out allowing the clip to be unfastened.
