How do you turn your ipod touch into disk mode?

If your iPod goes on disc mode dont be scared it can be fixed, infact its not even a problem. Here are som steps to get your ipod out of disc mode:

1. Hold down the center button along with the menu button and then your ipod will turn of
2. After that step has been completed and your ipod is switched off you turn your ipod back on but press the play/pause button so that it switches from disc mode to non-disc mode.
3. Well then your ipod is back to shape and you can carry on listining to your music!

If your ipod is in disk mode, hold the menu button and the center button at the same time until it turns off. then turn it back on by holding down the same buttons. Be sure not to hold the play/pause button down!

go into iTunes and connect iPod to USB port.

On the left hand side there is your music library and playlists.

There should also be a devices section.

Click on your iPod and it should come up with a summary list

including a pic of your iPod and how many GB's your iPod is.

near the bottom of the screen there should be some

selections that you can make.

tick 'Enable Disk Use'.

Then 'X' (exit) iTunes and go into my computer.

There should be your iPod ready for disk use in the

'removable disk' section

when it is connected to your computer, go into itunes, click the ipod symbol and go to the general section (has bar on bottom with colours) Above the colour coded bar there will be some tick boxes. Now click the box that says 'Enable disk use'

Sorted, now the ipod will show as a normal storage device and will still work as normal in itunes.
