if you are refering to the 4 screws/bolts holding on the w/p pully...the repair manual says to loosen them before you remove the serointine belt, so, as to have an ample amou NT of tension...however, this will sometimes work, and only if your belt is relatively new and has some gripping power...the easiest way i have found is...after you remove the serpentine belt cover, use a screwdriver (with a square shank) and wedge it between one of the screws and part of the water pump shaft that protrudes the pully. you should only need a 1/4 " drive ratchet, and a short socket for this procedure....hope this helps!
