run it on the fluff cycle for a couple of hours, no heat. if it still has smell, put carpet fresh or baking soda in a pillowcase , sew it up and run it on air only.
Pre-rinse the clothing with water and a cup or so of white vinegar. Wash as usual. If they still have an odor, a final rinse with vinegar will help. Make sure they are clean before using the dryer....
