How do you remove the wiper blade arms on a 2006 Jeep liberty?

Answer:
It is pretty much the same on all cars and trucks.Yep, even the big rigs. The blade is a held on where the blade and arm come together with a small tab. Any attendant at any auto parts store will gladly show you how its done. Takes about one minute.

The actual arm is held on by a nut over a stud at the pivot point. On the wiper arm itself there is a small cover that can be removed with a scribe or small flat blade screwdriver. Under the cover you will find a nut. Loosen it counter clockwise and move the wiper arm back and forth to loosen. Sometimes the arm and the pivot stud will corrode creating a sort of weld and are hard to separate. Screw the nut back on the stud enough to protect the threads and tap it (be gentle your not driving nails here) with a hammer while gently moving the wiper arm back and forth. Repeat until it comes free.
