I'm using Windows 98 SE

I got that Dialer.10.AJ a day or two ago.

I ran AVG but it did not show up at that time until I booted up into Safe Mode and RUN AVG again - this time Dialer.10.AJ appeared in two places:- c:\windows\system folder and c:\windows\tempory Internet Files folder. Also appeared Clicker.AJ, another Trojan.

In all cases AVG could not "Heal" the viruses but put them into the Virus Vault out of harm's way.

I'm now waiting until AVG catches up and is able to remove the viruses completely, then will restore the viruses from the vault and IMMEDIATELY run the reinforced AVG.

Note, if you are running Win2000 or WinXP, then it will be necessary to turn off System Restore before running your Virus program.

Don't forget to turn it back on after you have finished with the removal/vaulting!
