On the 4.0 L OHV engine, the EGR valve is located on the driver's side of the engine. how do i repair it
As I recall, that engine does not have an EGR valve.
Looking at the picture in my Chilton repair manual it looks like the PCV valve is on the drivers side of the engine , at the back of the engine , between the intake manifold runners and the firewall - good luck

its a Mazda engine . ( DOHC 4cyl. 16 valve 2.0l ) For the probe 1993
on the backside of the engine
i checked and found unplugged wires
Start the engine, and spray a little carb cleaner around and on the EGR valve. If the engine changes sound are idles up are down then the valve is bad.
Valve cover torque spec for 4.0 SOHC is 89 in-lbs. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071. This manual is for Ford Ranger Pick-ups, 1993-2005 models, but DOES include torque specs for the 4.0L SOHC engine.
In the top of the valve cover , on the drivers side of the engine , near the rear of the valve cover , next to the firewall
The Control Module on a 1993 Camaro is just to the left of the valve cover. It is toward the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side of the engine.
