u need to format ur computer. make sure ur xp cd is in ur cd drive, enter ur bios and make sure ur cd drive is first in the boot up catigory. restart and format, reinstall windows.

If your system is in a continuous loop, its most probably a hardware problem with your CPU. Check your CPU fan for proper installation or try reseating it and possibly your CPU as well. IF you've recently upgraded your BIOS, check your CPU settings as well as you may be running the defaults for that upgrade. You'll have to refer to your original CPU settings. The reason behind my thoughts here are, Windows is trying to use the processor to run and the processor isn't responding. Thats the reason for the infinite loop. If you can get to SAFE MODE, then the processor is working correctly and you may have a driver or some other problem with Windows. In THIS case, then formatting your harddrive may be the answer. But ONLY when you've confirmed it is NOT a hardware issue. Good Luck....
