How do you repair an ipod that skips through all your songs but will not play any of them?

You may have to restore your factory settings through iTunes. Plug in your iPod and wait for it to load. Then, in the screen that shows up, choose "restore factory settings". This will erase your songs then reload them afterwards.
DON'T UNPLUG YOUR IPOD! This'll cause major trouble. Just let the program run.

You had to restore your ipod and you had bought songs the same day right off your ipod fron the itunes app when you got your ipod touch done restoring your songs wernt on there but everything else was?
you have to transfer all your songs to itunes before you send it to repair or restore it.
