How do you repair automatic locks on '94 Honda Accord that make a clicking noise for 30 seconds after locked then a loud grinding noise?

Take it to a garage. There is no way of knowing what is making noise.
Hmmm... it is possible that the problem is a bad actuator. This can be replaced by removing the interior door panel and replacing the actuator. A bit easier said than done, but you can find info on the process by googling this issue.
The part cost approx $80-$90 US and is available at several online stores.
