How do you repair the speedometer on a 1992 Buick Roadmaster?

Haven't looked at a Buick for a long time, but the older ones it used to be either the short cable from the cruise control to the speedometer or the control module itself. Drivers side inner fender, right on top. Don't know if they were still using the same system in 92 or not but imagine they did.
