  1. Unplug the saw.
  2. Immobilize the saw blade either with the button provided for this purpose which is located somewhere on the body of the saw, or by use of some locking pliers, or a pin under one of the teath (do not damage the cutting tips with something hard.
  3. Loosen the threaded bolt in the center of the blade until it comes off.
  4. Replace with a new blade, and reverse the steps.

The tool has a screw at one end. Loosen this screw which is shaped like a wing nut. The blade will become loose and when it does, look to the handle end. There is a small hook which the blade attaches to, so it will be firm when reattached. Slide the blade off the hook and the other hook which is attached to the screw nut. Place the new blade on these two hooks and tighten the screw nut firmly.

There should be a screw at the top of the blade. Loosen that and the blade slides out easily. Simply slide in the new blade and retighten the screw.

Most have a lock to hold the shaft of the saw from turning and a nut holding the blade on. Hold the shaft, loosen the nut and remove the blade.

The nut usually has reversed threads. So, turn the nut clockwise. Use a scrap piece of wood to keep the blade from turning.
