Looking at motor front of van located right side of motor torwards rear below head ,disconnect wired pulls off ,wrench it out counter clockwise, install new replace wire.
UPDATE THE REAL LOCATION IN LAYMAN'S TERMS: if you pull your engine cover and are sitting in the driver seat look down on drivers side of motor between the spark plug closest to you and the next furthest one, your coolant temp sensor is located there at the same height as your floor it is brass with a plug sticking out the end unplug,unscrew cover hole with your finger (making sure engine is cool) till you get the new one screwed in (this save you from draining your coolant you will loose a cup to a cup and a half but can easily be topped off when job is complete) plug in the new one and top off radiator. This is for 96 and newer only I cant speak on anything older as I own a 2000

seriously? it tells you what temperature you engine coolant/antifreeze is. that is how your gauge on the dash knows what your temperature is at.
The coolant temp sensor will be located very close to the thermostst housing.
The coolant fan sensor is the same as the sensor that shows the coolant temperature on the dash gauge. It is located on the intake manifold.
