How do you replace gasket seals at the timing chain area oil is leaking out in that area of your 1997 BMW 318i?

timing chain seals need to get done by a pro I belive. I'd imagine you'd need to remove the fan shroud, pull the pullies, and maybe even remove the valve cover and vanos. I would ask a pro.
