How do you replace the alternator on a 1992 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L V6?

Easy All you have too do is make sure your battery is disconnected I stress this point because if you don't bye bye computer.After UNHOOKING the BATTERY unplug the plugins on the back careful not too brake them then unbolt the positive wire on the alternator. When you finished this there are three bolts too go holding the alternator in place. Loosen these and slip the alternator out from under the belt. I find this easier than letting the tension off of the belt saves the pain of setting it back up. Install in the reverse of this. LAST THING TOO DOO IS HOOK UP THE BATTERY!
