How do you replace the fuel pump in a 1991 Infiniti G20?

Answer fuel pump on 1991 G20The fuel pump is in the gas tank located under the rear passenger seat. You can either drop the gas tank or if there is an access cover under the passenger seat, replace it from there.

DO as decribed above, remove gray triangle access plate (3 bolts), de-pressureize fuel system if not done so all ready, remove eletrical connectoers and the two fuel lines.

#3 i removed the black ring counter clockwise with a hammer and socket tip screw driver. when i bought a new ring $16 bucks it would only tighten down counter clock wise go figure right?

#4 remove fuel pump, this part is the hardest dont give up ithelps to have a empty tank but push the orange lever at the top towards the ground as far as you can without breaking it and rotate the fuel pump a 1/4 turn counter clock wise

#5 install reverse order :):)
