Answer
the only thing I can tell you is go to manuals unlimited .com and get the cd manual for your car and then go to download.com and get adobi reader and that will give you the best info on it. I have 2 one for my 450 sl (73) and one for my 300e. it was only $20.00 each and is the same man that you will find from benz .
Answer
Ok I my fan would come on sometime somtime not, 1985 mercedes 380 se
I finally got tired of this it finally got tired of me hitting the panel in front of the passeger seat and it would come on.
This is what you want to know.
on the passenger side under the dash there is a black cover large with one screw in it, remove it, then there are two black snap levers you need to pry gently and the rear of the panel will come down. the rear is towards the trunk.
thene there is light dark gret cover. with two screws remove them. then your blower is exposed. remove the three screw holding the blower on, remove the electrical connections, slide the connector from the housing. You then will have the motor and blower in your hands. My motor armature brushes where worn terribly, and ethced the armature. you can get complete motor or assembly about 125, motor only 99.00, I haven removed the fan yet so i dont know how to carefully pry it of without breaking. If you want more Mihali@cox.net. Let me know what you found out. Mitchell.
