Pop up the dash cover with a flat head screw drive and remove. Remove the two screws that hold the speakers down. You can use a 7mm wrench if they are tight. Unplug the factory ones and plug in your new set. You can use factory ones or search for aftermarket ones on Ebay or Google. They are an odd size speaker (2.5") so your options are kind of limited when it comes to what you buy.
Should be the infinity gold speakers 6". That's what is presently in mine and a few of my friends who own the jeep grand Cherokee.
The front and front door speakers on the 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee are 6-3/4 inches. The rear and back door speakers are also 6-3/4 inches.
