Answer
Having not actually done this on my MPV but on other vehicles this is normally not an easy task. You'll have to pull the entire door panel off to gain access to the motor then figure out how to disconnect the window from the motor and then replace the motor. I recommend getting a Haynes Manual for the vehicle and most likely they'll have pretty good instructions on how to do it. Good luck!
This is wizard here. I recently pulled the motor on my drivers side door of my 2001 MPV. After removng the door panel, (There are the 2 plastic screws along the door and 2 more screws one behind the door lever and the other is in the door drawer under the rubber mat) you will see 3 nuts towards the front. That is the motor. The problem you will encounter is that you will need to unscrew the power window guide and cable assembly from the motor. there should just be 2 screws for this. Make certain that you do not unravel the cable in the spool. Once this is done you only need to unplug the motor from the main switch. It is in easy access to do. I guess you know that the motor is bad? Sometimes, like what I am going through, is that the cable gets kinked and will jam thus causing the motor to get very hot. Once the motor is out you can bench test it by rehooking it up to the plug-in from the switch. Good luck and remember to try and not disturb the cable housing that fits into the gear of the motor.
