How do you replace the radiator on a 1990 Honda Accord LX?

Answer:

Answer

Open the hood and you'll see the plate that contains the hood latch. If you take that off (more 10mm bolts than I want to think about), then drain the coolant (and ATF if the car is an automatic), the radiator will come out.

So let's see...

unhook battery
drain coolant and ATF
remove plate
remove the two hold-downs on top of the radiator
unhook fans
unhook hoses
unhook coolant temp sensor
slide radiator out of the car

then...

transfer fans and coolant temp sensor from old radiator to new one
slide new radiator into car
change ATF filter (not necessary on manual)
reconnect and refill
