How do you replace the steering belt and drive belt on a suzuki XL-7?

Drive Belt Replacement procedureplease pardon my spelling I type to fast and miss spell here and there.Ok there are two belts on the truck and to replace these you have to get a little dirty. The first thing you need to do is to disconnect the negative battery terminal because you will be moving the alternator (don't panic its 1 bolt). This is done by slackening the bracket bolts holding the alternator on and then to slacken the bolt holding the alternator in its position ( you will see a slider like rail on the left side of the alternator with a bolt in the middle) once this is done the belt will slacken enough to remove from the pullies. Now that this belt is loose you have to first move on to the other belt because it is blocking the removal of the first. The other belt is a little more challenging, to remove it envolves finding the slacking bolt of the Power Steering pump (right side of motor right on top) same goes for the brackets that hold it they must be slackened in order to move the pump down to slacken the belt, after this remove and reverse procedure for install. This procedure needs no lift and no special tools maybe a prybar tops is an extra that might come in handy for install. Well that's all I know on this subject hope it helps
