How do you replace the thermostat located on a 1995 Nissan truck?

It is located at the enine end of the lower radiator hose inside the metal piece atttached to the engine. the metal piece has 3 bolts to take off that attach it to the engine. I took off the fan and fan shroud for easy access. this is fora 95 xe 4 cylinder.
