The pump is located on the lower back side of the washer reservoir. To access, you need to remove the inner fender guard of the passenger side front. Remove the screws for the guard, the bottom of the reservoir is in front of the tire. There are two pumps, one for the front washer and one for the rear. Replace the faulty one. This job should take approximately 20 minutes, max.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Turn the steering wheel to move the front wheels to the full left position.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the plastic push-in fasteners that secure the forward end of the left front wheelhouse splash shield to the inner fender panel and the front fascia. (Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/LINER-FENDER AND QUARTER - REMOVAL).
Pull the forward end of the left front wheelhouse splash shield away from the inner fender panel and front fascia far enough to access the washer pump/motor unit (2) on the outboard side of the washer reservoir (4) for service.
Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (1) for the washer pump motor from the motor connector receptacle.
NOTE: To aid in reinstallation, note the installed position of the washer hoses prior to disconnecting them from the washer pump.
Disconnect the front and rear washer hoses (3) from the barbed outlet nipples of the washer pump and allow the washer fluid to drain into a clean container for reuse.
Grasp the top of the washer pump/motor housing and pull it firmly outward far enough to disengage the snap post on the top of the motor from the receptacle in the reservoir.
Grasp the lower part of the washer pump/motor housing and, using a back and forth twisting action, pull the unit outward from the reservoir far enough to disengage the pump inlet nipple from the rubber grommet seal in the reservoir.
Remove the rubber grommet seal from the washer pump mounting hole in the reservoir and discard.
SOME ARE MOUNTED IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WASHER RESIVOIR.
The pump is located in front of the passenger tire behind the plastic wall. Drain washer fluid and it's a quick 3min swap out
inside the timing cover, the timing belt moves it
At the bottom of the washer fluid bottle.
That is where the heater core and AC box is located. Perhaps the drain is plugged and water in getting into the air intake under the hood somehow. The drain is in the firewall at the bottom or underneath. After the AC has been running, there should be condensation dripping from it if it is open.
clean the battery terminals - strong wire brush or a little baking soda & water.
did the engine run hot, is it frozen or does it turn over, if so sounds like something was taken loose and not reconnected, either by design or accident, check wiring carefully, any loose wires are suspicious

Not difficult at all. One tip...do one wire at a time to avoid altering the firing order inadvertently. Remove the old wire, match up by length with one of the new wires, and install the new one in its place. A SMALL dab of dielectric compound (usually supplied with the wire set, if not the auto parts store has it) inside the spark plug side of the wire, helps protect against water intrusion.
The AC drain on a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan EX is located underneath the front of the vehicle. Often, when the drain is clogged, water will leak into your vehicle and get the floorboards wet.
Rear most and lowest pulley on the serpentine belt.
I can get to it but how does one get it out?
It is at the lower end of the top radiator hose within the water outlet. I hope this helps you. Mark
If you remove the right front plastic fender liner on the caravan, the water pump is lower right of the engine.
Yes.
yes
very carefully.
It is directly below centre of pump.
it is in with the timing belt
..internal..i belive it is behind the timing belt, passenger side...big job ...or if you have the model i have it's so easy (Grand Caravan 2000 3.3l SE), it's located on the passange reach from underneath, i think originally there is a mud cover you have to take off and you'll have access to it
