∙ 12y agoIf your Vaio has Vaio Care on it (which it probably does), if your computer crashes or if there are major problems, you can go to Vaio Care. If you cannot get to the desktop at all in a situation, and if your Vaio has the 'Assist' button near the On button, then you can press that. On Vaio Care, there is an option to restore your computer to an earlier point in time.
