On any GM vehicle, turn the key to the accessory position (TWO CLICKS FORWARD), then press the gas pedal to the floor three times in a row. Then start the vehicle. The light should go away or on newer models the oil% should reset to 100%. If It does not work then change your pace of pressing on the gas pedal. It generaly needs to be done in about 2-3 seconds.

You could do it the easy way. Be sure the engine is off, and turn the key two clicks forward to the run position. Then press and hold both the INFO button and the ARROW on the steering wheel together for about 3 seconds and then release, your display in your speedometer should change, press the INFO button repeatedly until you see "RESET OIL LIFE" and then press the ARROW button, then it'll say ACKNOWLEDGED and your good to go....
Turn the key to the on position but do not start. Press gas pedal to the floor and release 3 times. It will now reset.
Chevrolet does not use inertia/reset switches.
Unplug the posative terminal in your trunk by your spare tire, then push the gas about 3-5 time and plug the battery back in. voila!
Fix the cause of the light coming on and the light will reset itself within a few drive cycles.

After repair, you reset with a scan tool.
Carefully!!! You will need to pressure bleed the system and it will require a scanner to reset the light.
Turn ignition to auxillary pump gas pedal three times turn ignition off then back on light should be reset. also if you call jiffy lube and tell them they did not reset light they will give you process to reset.
