If you do a factory reset then yes you will loose everything.
you need to unhook your negative cable for a few that will reset>
If the system is being completely filled, a vacuum will have to be pulled on the system. If the system just needs to be topped off then a vacuum pull is not needed.
You can not reset your oxygen sensors. You can only replace them. To reset the check engine light you will have to get that done by a repair shop with a computor. If replacing the sensors does not repair the problem then check for a vacuum leak.
YOU CAN TAKE IT TO A SHOP AND HAVE THEM PUT IT ON THE SNAP ON COMPUTER AND RESET IT...HOWEVER..IF YOUR SENSORS ARE DIRTY IT WILL CAUSE IT TO COME BACK ON I WOULD TAKE THE WHEELS OFF...FIND THE SENSORS REMOVE THEM AND THEN CLEAN THEM WITH CONTACT CLEANER OR BRAKE CLEANER THEN RE INSTALL THEM..YOU MIGHT CAN REMOVE THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AND RESET THE ECM...HOPE I HAVE HELPED ......P.RICH

somethings wrong still if you light is on most likely has to to do with the EGR valve or a Vacuum leak
This is a reminder light to tell you to remove the pellets from the catalytic converter, clean them, and put them back in. Yes, there is a reset button. You can safely ignore this light.
take it to the shop it maybe the vsv or the vaccume sensor for the egr valve
