Turn ignition to "ON", slowly press accelerator to the floor three times within five seconds, wait a few seconds and you will hear three tones, the "Change Oil" light will turn off. Turn the ignition to "OFF" and the light will be reset.
This didn't work for me...turning ignition to "ON" actually starts the engine. I turned the key to "ACC" position, waited a few seconds then pressed the accelerator to the floor three times. A few seconds later heard the three tones and the sensor was reset......
(For some reason, oil lights in some cars are reset with odd steps like these. Do a Google search for "reset oil light gas pedal" and you will see it's quite common.)
I have the same car and the trunk release button is on the driver side door. Its under the handle..its a round grey button.
where are the oxygen sensors on a 2000 Pontiac grand am and how do you change them?
No.
There is an auto trunk release on a 2004 Grand Prix. If you push the drivers side door lock button to the left and hold it, the trunk will open.
It is the door lock button on drivers door. You just hold it longer and the trunk will pop.
