You should be able to just take off the positive battery post for about 5 minutes, then put it back on. Everything should reset as long as the problem is solved.

Auto Zone is the only store that will do this for FREE - everyone else will charge you around $65.00.

It does not matter what light is on; they will reset it if it can be reset, and if not, they will pinpoint what the problem is and what part is needed to fix it.
