You should be able to just take off the positive battery post for about 5 minutes, then put it back on. Everything should reset as long as the problem is solved.
If this does not work, just take it to Auto Zone and tell them you need to have your oil light reset. They will do this for FREE and also tell you if there is anything stopping the light from turning off. Auto Zone is the only store that will do this for FREE - everyone else will charge you around $65.00.
Auto Zone will do a free dianostic test on any vehicle 1995 and newer, so don't hesitate to take advange of this free service. They will be more than glad to do this for you and it only takes a few seconds for them to do it.
It does not matter what light is on; they will reset it if it can be reset, and if not, they will pinpoint what the problem is and what part is needed to fix it.
