Push and hold the Ambient (outside) Temperature button down while pressing the Temperature Down button. After several seconds the display will toggle.
Tried it on my 2006 Sonata after finding this URL:
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Hyundai-Repair-815/2001-XG300-Heater-Control.htm
and it worked (after driving around for a month before I got weary of doing temp conversions in my head). The display was in Centigrade after a rebuilt engine was installed (don't drive through more than 4 inches of water in your Sonata, kids).
Press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the temperature up ("+") button to switch between degrees Celsius & Fahrenheit on the Climate Control Temperature and Instrument Panel Outside Temperature displays.
to change the celsius on display to Fahrenheit, u want to press the econ button on your climatronic, then right after press your auto button right above the econ button, at this time the display should switch to Fahrenheit or Fahrenheit to celcius whichever u prefer....hopes this helps..
Press and hold the "Refrigerator" and "Freezer" buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
Hope this helps. On 1999 model beetle, with key on push and hold in hour and minute buttons at same time this will change your temp from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
The variable, X, has to undergo the following: X*9÷5+32 [The reverse would be to accept a Fahrenheit temperature: (F-32)*5÷9]
The C stands for Celsius, the metric equivalent of Fahrenheit, which is the temperature scale used in the US. In my 2001 Blazer, the compass/temp display is part of the overhead. Next to the display, there are two push-buttons. One turns the display on and off, and the other toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Just hit that button and it should go away. Hope this helps you out. -Rex
If you have a car with automatic climate control, you can change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius (and back again): pre-2004: Hold down the "Auto" button for a few seconds.2004 onward: Press the AC button (2nd from top left) and the footwell fan button (lower right) together.
By shaking it
The answer depends on what equipment has your multi-function display. I suggest you refer to the user manual.
You can not. you have to change the whole cluster.
Start with the thermometer in off mode. Hold the smiley face down and wait. The thermometer display will scans through multiple functions. The first display will be C*, you want to continue holding the smiley face until the display shows F*and then let go. This will change the setting from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
