F11 during boot
I dont know who posted this, but f11 does nothing.
it depends what defaults you mean. The H: drive usually has the default software as installed at the factory. Reboot from there.

For a hard reset on the dv9000, disconnect all devices (USB, ethernet, etc...), disconnect the power cord, remove the battery and wait 30 seconds. Then press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Re-connect the power cable (not the battery), and power up. After starting up, shut down, reconnect the battery and
peripherals and proceed normally.
