How do you say taekwondo school in Korean?

Answer:
A Taekwondo school is a "dojang" 도장

A "Kwan" 관 is a family of schools under the leadership of one founder.

There are thousands of dojang around the world, each operating either as a member of an established Taekwondo organization (association or federation), or teaching independently. There were five original Kwans in the early developmental stages of Korean Taekwondo between 1944, and 1945. By 1955, the number of annex Kwans had grown to more than 30. The Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA) was formed in 1961, and several years later, the Korean government recognized only 10 Kwans, numbered them, and officially disbanded the Kwan system. However, each of the original Kwans remain active within Korea, and worldwide maintaining their own unique syllabus, and issuing Kwan certificates for student and Black Belt ranks. The various Kwan leaders are still powerfully influential forces behind the scenes, much like political parties in governmental elections.
