∙ 11y agoUse an 8 team bracket with a single play-in game between the 8 and 9 seeded teams.
The 8-9 winner plays the 1 seed in the first round
The 2 seed plays the 7 seed in the first round.
The 3 seed plays the 6 seed in the first round.
The 4 seed plays the 5 seed in the first round.
The 8/9 vs. 1 winner plays the 2 vs. 7 winner in the semi-finals.
The 3 vs. 6 winner plays the 4 vs. 5 winner in the semi-finals.
The remaining winners play in the championship while the losers play in a consolation game if one is so ordered.

1. Seed 1 plays seed 8
2. Seed 2 plays seed 7
3. Seed 3 plays seed 6
4. Seed 4 plays seed 5
5. The winners from games 1 and 4 play.
6. The winners from games 2 and 3 play.
The winners of games 5 and 6 play as the championship game.

∙ 13y agoMy bracket for a double elimination tournament at bracketman.com has the 13 seed and the 12 seed playing a play in game to play the 11 seed. The winner of the 11 v 12/13 plays the 1 seed. The 10 v 9 winner plays the 2 seed, 7 v 8 winner plays 3 and 5 v 6 plays the 4 seed. The losers feed into the losers bracket where the ultimate winner of that bracket plays the winner of the winners bracket. Enjoy!

What the formula of double elimination tournament?
A double elimination tournament means you have to lose twice before being eliminated from the competition. If you lose once, you are sent to the "losers' bracket". In the losers' bracket you are allowed to continue competing against other teams that have also lost once. If you lose a second time you are eliminated. The winner of the losers' bracket places third in the overall competition.
