On the outside edge of the receiver, you will see 2 screws, one on each side. See diagram in figure 3 at the following link. http://www.eaacorp.com/diagrams-izh27lg.html When the screw is turned so that the slot is across the receiver, that should be "extractor" mode. On the Baikal/Remington SPR 310 O/U, you simply push the trigger forward to select the top barrel, leave it alone to have the bottom barrel fire first.
