I found this information useful. You are supposed to press send, then an icon like this will appear : p/i . Then press I C Q. There. If this fails, I don't know what to do. It works for me.
ok phone A goes to RECV
and phone B goes to chat
phone B you type your message and then it pops up p/i and you push ICQ (the call second call button) and it will say send and then it already sent your message
( the two phones arent really a b phones i just used that as an example really its just one phone goes to recv and other goes to chat ;) that is how i did it hope it helps
