this is complitly depand on the type of mobile phone. u can easily send ring tone from computer to mobile by using BlueTooth, Infrared (Ir), or Data Cable. If your mobile is compatable for any those device than u can send some media file, like Image, Ring tone, Games and other application that support by ur mobile phone.
MP3,.WAV,.wmr are generaly use for ring tones.
JPEG,GIF are use for Image file.
