How do you separate a mixture of poppy seed sand salt iron and benzoic acid?

Answer:
  1. Take a magnet to get the iron out.
  2. Blow the poppy seed out with wind blowing or vacuum cleaner
  3. Dissolve the benzoic acid in pure alcohol (solubillity max. 2.6 M), filter off.
  4. Dissolve the salt in warm water, filter off the 'left-over' sand.

(it is possible to reverse the last to steps, but then it is more difficult to evaporate the 'benzoic acid'-tincture, after its final filtration, there will be also some salty water -from the previous step- dissolved in it)
