How do you separate a mixture of sand and solid table salt?

I hope that the salt is soluble otherwise it would be very hard to separate.Now,take the mixture,mix water with it.The salt will get dissolved.Now,now pour the whole mixture in a filter paper and let the water to fall on a beaker.Now the residue above the paper is the salt.Now,the water with which the salt is mixed is taken in a vessel.heat it with a burner and the water will vaporize and goes up leaving the salt behind only.This is the best method to separate them.
