How do you set skyscan Atomic Clock model 38229-1?

Press mode key at any time to exit.

Press mode, then press adjust to change time zones.

TO SET TIME AND DATE:

Press and hold alarm on/off for about 5 seconds until hour flashes.

Press adjust to change hour.

Press alarm on/offto move to minutes. Press adjust to change minutes

Press alarm on/offto move to seconds. Press adjust to change seconds

Press alarm on/offto move to month. Press adjust to change month

Press alarm on/offto move to date. Press adjust to change date

Press alarm on/offto move to day of week. Press adjust to change day of week

Press mode key to save to exit.

TO SET ALARM:

Press mode to go to alarm screen (AL shows above temp)

Hold the alarm on/off button for about 5 seconds and the hour will flash.

Press the adjustbutton to change the hour.

Press the alarm on/off button again to move to minute

Press the adjustbutton to change the minutes

Press the mode key to save and exit

Press and hold the "set" button briefly. When the display changes, use the "set" button to cycle through the choices. The current time zone setting will display in one of the upper corners. Press the "+" button until "EST" displays. If you don't press any buttons after this point, the clock will return to normal mode, using Eastern Standard time.

First, push the "set" key located on the front of the clock to activate the minute place holder. Then, push the "+" key to scroll to the correct minute. Finally, push the "set" key again to exit the setting mode.

Call the manufacture (Equity Time) at 925-373-7900 and press extension 2. The customer service person should be able to answer your questions. The name "SkyScan" is confusing because there are two companies selling products with the same name. In your case (an mine), this model is made by Equity Time. Best wishes.

The unit automatically receives the time signal everyday at midnight and makes any required adjustment to the time displayed.

The WAVE OK indicator and the Tower Icon on the display will show if the time signal is successfully received or after manually pressing the SET/WAVE button

You can trigger a Signal Receive operation at any time by pressing the SET/WAVE button, which will activate the Signal Search function of the unit.

To Manually Set the Clock
To Set the Year and Date
1. Press SET/WAVE button after setting TIME ZONE and DST
2. Press + or - button sequentially to set the year (holding down the button will change the year at a high speed)
3. Press SET/WAVE button to confirm the year set and start the date process
4. Press + or - button sequentially to set the current date (holding down the button will change the date at a high speed)
NOTE: The weekday changes automatically depending on the year and date

To Set the Time
1. Press the SET/WAVE button after setting the calendar
2. Press + or - button sequentially to set the minutes (holding down the button will change the year at a high speed)
NOTE: Once you the press + or - button, the seconds will reset to 00

To set the 12/24 HR mode and the Temperature Mode
1. Press SET/WAVE button after setting the time
2. Press the + button to toggle between between 12HR and 24HR (military) modes
3. Press the - button to toggle between C and F temperature display mode
4. Press SET/WAVE button to confirm and quit the set mode

press "mode" until the alarm time shows. then press "set." every time "set" is pressed, the timezone shifts from west to east. the default timezone seems to be west on my clock, but most instructions I've found online say that default is east. I'm not sure why that is.
